Persistence

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “press on” has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race”
- Calvin Coolidge

Attitude

“A positive attitude may not solve all of your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort”

swift.FIT! Brisbane CROSSFIT Training

swift.FIT! Brisbane CROSSFIT Training  We are training in various locations in Brisbane, QLD Australia, so come join us for a workout of the day (WOD). Where possible we follow the WOD that is posted by CrossFit HQ, lagging a day behind to accomodate the timezone differences.  Where it is not possible to follow the WOD as rx’d (for equipment or programming reasons) we will create a substitute WOD based on the CrossFit protocols and templates.  Often our rest days will vary from the rest days posted on www.crossfit.com as well.  We are currently training on a schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 1 day on, 1 day off, repeat.  The WOD is often substituted to accomodate this training schedule.

If you are new to CrossFit, we strongly recommend that you read and follow the “how to start” advice posted at http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/start-how.html

The exercises that we use can be found on the CrossFit site at http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/excercise.html, if they are unfamiliar study them carefully and if possible get a qualified coach to assist you.  Form and technique is everything!!  Exercises should be performed with full range of motion (ROM) and the highest priority placed on correct and safe form.

The CrossFit HQ site is a wealth of information.  Visit www.crossfit.com often and learn as much as possible about the CrosFit method.  A great resource is the FAQ section located at http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/faq.html.

Most important of all, start now!
